François Labet inherited the Château de Clos de Vougeot from his mother and the Pierre Labet domain from his father, which runs around 10 hectares of premier cru vineyards in Beaune and Meursault which were converted to organic vineyards in the early 2000s. Located on the edge of the Saint-Christophe, the terroir of the Tillets is composed of white marl, which yields delicate and earthy wines. The estate cultivates one hectare of young vines planted in 2003, where the grapes are grown, harvested, and vinified with immense care and attention.
Tillets is flawless and aromatic, with a beautiful golden colour and notes of acacia, citrus and white peach. The wine is matured for 12 months in oak barrels, half of which are new, creating subtle oak notes with overtones of hazelnut to compliment the full-bodied and abundant palate, and finishing with a delightful mineral quality. This wine is ideally enjoyed after cellaring for two to three years and accompanied with roast chicken, for example.

Piccola proprietà familiare di 12 ettari, il Domaine Labet è stato creato nel 1974 da Alain e Josie Labet. Oggi è diretto da François Labet, proprietario dello Château de la Tour nel Clos Vougeot, che fu costruito nel 1890 dai suoi antenati. Con 6 ettari situati nella parcella del Clos Vougeot, la famiglia Labet possiede il terreno più esteso di questo prestigioso terroir.
