Information
Vincent Couche cultivates 13 hectares of vineyards in the Côte des Bars, following biodynamic techniques. The property converted officially in 2008 and this wine grower, in his quest for maturity and the full expression of his terroirs, produces unusual and intriguing wines. There is quite a variation in the terroir. His Chardonnay is planted on 3 hectares of chalky soil with a fully south-facing aspect in Montugueux. In Buxeuil, 10 hectares of Pinot Noir grow on clay, marl and calcareous soil. Vincent Couche tantalises the taste buds with mouthwatering, sulphite-free cuvées with beautiful fruity notes, remarkable maturity and an astonishingly fresh quality!
Vincent Couche's Réserve Intemporelle Extra-Brut cuvée is a superb, lightly dosed champagne which bears the "Réserve" label as it was produced from the 2011 and 2012 harvests. Both on the nose and in the mouth, it offers subtle aromas of candied fruit and wood, with a mineral finish that offers fine citrus flavours. The finish is a combination of tension and freshness. It is perfect when drunk to accompany an entire gourmet meal.
