Information
This Blanc d’Argile cuvée comes from a terroir rich in clay. Around ten years old, the Chardonnay vines used to make it are grown organically and biodynamically, with yields limited to 30 hl/ha. In a similar vein, the grapes are vinified as naturally as possible; the bunches are harvested by hand, wild yeasts ferment them, they are matured in casks, and there is no fining or filtering as the wine is bottled.
We recommend enjoying this cuvée in its youth and opening it a little while before serving. In the glass you’ll find a pale yellow wine with delicate bubbles. Its nose gives off floral notes with a hint of citrus, white fruit, nuts, and patisserie. This bouquet leads to a complex palate with power from its terroir that is balanced by the delicacy of its varietal. Round and elegant, it will pair well with noble fish and fleshy crustaceans.
