About the producer
Located in McLaren Vale in southern Australia, Hardy's is considered one of the region's pioneers and is now run by the fifth generation of the family. The domain produces wines from Australia's classic grape varieties, including Syrah, Chardonnay and Sémillon. The domain produces 45 different wines.
About the wine
This Australian Syrah is a must-try, with notes of black fruits, coffee and cinnamon. The vines are between 50 and 110 years old and are matured in French oak barrels for 16 to 20 months, giving the wine time to develop aromatically and its tannins to gain in finesse.
