Yvon Métras took over the family domain near Villié-Morgon in 1988. A firm follower of Marcel Lapierre, he is also an advocate of natural wines. His five hectacre vineyard is entirely organic and his vinifcations are always carried out as naturally as possible (natural yeasts and no, or very little, sulfur). This domain is a leading light in Beaujolais thanks to the authentic and fruit forward wines that Métras produces. The demand for these wines greatly outweighs the supply.

This Cognac comes exclusively from Grande Champagne, a Cognac premier cru, and is aged for a long time. It is elegant and delicate, with pleasant roundness and harmony.
