Information
This cuvée is Château de Pressac's second wine which, over the past few years, has seen quality levels soar. Sustainable pest control, harvesting by hand and rigorous sorting are followed by a highly precise vinification process. The grapes are fully destemmed prior to pre-fermentation maceration, which extracts colour and aromas. A number of cap punching and pumping-over operations assist this extraction during the thermoregulated vinification process. The wine is then matured for 20 months, including 18 in barrique barrels (65% new wood). More accessible than its elder sibling, it is nonetheless produced with the same care. Its juicy notes, meaty profile and elegant tannins promise moments of real pleasure.
