The Pavelot family has been present in Pernand-Vergelesses since at least the 17th century and their domaine has grown over time and generations. Today, Luc and Lise Pavelot have taken over from their father Régis. Their 9-hectare vineyard is certified organic and shared between Pernand-Vergelesses and Aloxe-Corton. This is a really interesting area, with particularly charming wine, that also maintains reasonable prices.

Domaine Pavelot's Pernand-Vergelesses Village is a very typical wine for the appellation. It delivers aromas of red fruit (especially cherry and raspberry) which are also found on the palate, with some spicy notes. It is a well-balanced, easy-to-drink wine, making a perfect accompaniment for roasted poultry.
