About the producer

The Pago de los Capellanes bodega founded in 1996 produces wines made exclusively from Tinto Fino, an indigenous form of Tempranillo. It is divided into 35 parcels which are vinified separately and produces very structured, elegant wines, with fine fruitiness and an exquisite bouquet.

About the wine

El Nogal is produced from a six-hectare vineyard parcel. The wine is matured in new wood (French oak) for 22 months and offers up floral and fresh fruit aromas and vanilla and roast cocoa notes. The palate is elegant, fleshy and complex with an intense and woody finish with refined tannins.
