Information
This domaine, which has been owned by the Rosso family since 1920, is located 3 kilometres north of Serralunga d’Alba. The domaine's motto is that "Wine should be a carbon copy of its terroir” and this is what dictates the cultivation, vinification and ageing approach practised by Giovanni Rosso's son Davide Rosso.
This cuvée has been fermented for 10-15 days, with regular pump-overs and devatting. The wine is then matured in oak casks. When served at room temperature, it produces notes of plum, raspberry, blueberry and flowers. Its juicy, indulgent profile is enhanced by an acidity that lends a welcome freshness. It is an easy-to-drink wine, ideal as an accompaniment to fine dishes such as risotto, or simply with Italian cold cuts.
