Information
One could almost say that champagne runs through the Cattier family's veins. The family founded the house in 1916, under Jean Cattier's impetus who was forced to return home after being injured during WW1. Having failed to find anyone to buy his grapes, he decided to vinify them himself. Since then, the domain has grown, spanning 33 hectares of primarily premier cru parcels. His grandchildren Agathe Charles, Marie Cattier, Jean-Jacques Cattier and Alexandre Cattier now run the domain, continuing the same brilliant work.
The domain's emblematic wine, Clos du Moulin is a blend of three vintages which have been carefully selected for their ability to age for a considerable time. Produced in small quantities, it is appreciated for its vinosity, its particular power and its extraordinary capacity to pair with flavoursome dishes.
