Côtes du Jura Vin Jaune Florent Rouve (Domaine) 2013
The wine
Typical of Jura tradition, this vin jaune is made up of Savagnin, a native grape variety par excellence. It has been aged in a traditional manner in barriques and sous voile for six years. On tasting, it offers up intense notes of nuts, citrus fruit and spices such as saffron, curry and nutmeg. Keep it for several years in the cellar to enjoy with typical dishes such as a mature Comté or a Bresse fattened chicken with morels.
