Fleuron Pierre Gimonnet 2009
The wine
This wine is produced only in the best years. The nose offers aromas of nuts, hazelnuts and honey, with brioche notes. With its light dosage, it delivers beautifully pure aromas of white-fleshed fruit (apple, peach, citrus) and a lively acidity.
About the Producer Pierre Gimonnet
The Gimonnet family have been wine growers since the middle of the 18th century, when they sold their grapes to the producers. The domain began making wine in 1935. Today it owns 28 hectares of Chardonnay vineyards in the Côte des Blancs, including some premier cru parcels. Single parcel selection gives every cuvée its own identity. In general, the champagnes are refined with a mineral quality. <
