Roses de Jeanne Côte de Béchalin Blanc de Noirs Cédric Bouchard 2010
The wine
Produced from a single vineyard of barely 1 hectare, this pure Pinot Noir has particularly elegant and delicate bubbles, and an aromatic bouquet of citrus fruits and white flowers. No extra sugar has been added so this champagne is both lively and fresh on the palate.
About the Producer Cédric Bouchard
Cédric Bouchard, son of a winemaker, runs the estate of the same name based in Aube, on the Côte des Bar. He runs the small domain of Roses de Jeanne (one hectare), located in the Ource Valley, as well as Inflorescence in Val Vilaine. His agricultural methods are reasoned and controlled, quite close to the principles of biodynamics. His champagnes are renowned and sought after, production being very limited.
