Cabernet Franc
One of the varieties used in Bordeaux blends, Cabernet Franc adds complexity and slightly spiced, herbaceous aromas. Wines from Pomerol, Saint-Emilion and Fronsac generally contain more Cabernet Franc than those from Médoc or Graves. It is a variety that is also popular in the South West and the Loire.
