Château Haut Bages Monpelou Cru Bourgeois
Information
About the producer

Created in the 19th century, this property has managed to keep exactly the same vineyard, unlike many other châteaux. It has also always belonged to the Castéja family. The property was promoted to Cru Bourgeois Supérieur status in the 2003 revision of the 1932 classification.

About the wine

The wines are made according to traditional methods, and then aged in oak barrels for 18 months. They reveal a fine structure and develop rounded, full-bodied, fruity aromas.
