Information
The Pinot Noir vines planted on the emblematic Côte de Beaune terroir climb on predominantly brown, moderately deep clay-limestone soils. The estate applies sustainable, balanced viticulture practices on each plot. Interventions are carefully considered and kept to a minimum, while yields are rigorously controlled. In the vineyard, the grapes are harvested by hand and transported in small crates to preserve the quality of the raw material. The fully destalked fruit is then vinified following traditional methods, fermenting spontaneously thanks to natural yeasts. The winemaking process is rounded off by a long 12-month ageing period in oak casks before bottling without filtration.
The ruddy-red colour reveals an expressive bouquet revealing small red fruit. The clean, crunchy palate affirms the aromas of the nose while leading to a fresh, flavoursome finish.
