Domaine Leprince, nestled at the heart of the Hautes-Côtes de Beaune, passionately crafts exceptional wines of incomparable freshness and remarkable elegance. The Santenay terroir is home to Chardonnay vines climbing on greyish limestone soils and benefiting from an ideal morning east-facing exposure. Sheltered by Mont de Sène to the west, the vines flourish thanks to the benefits of integrated farming. Once harvested, the grapes are first sorted mechanically and then by hand. The grapes then macerate in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats, where fermentation occurs naturally, without the addition of yeast. Lastly, the cuvée is cellared for several months before being bottled.
The bright and clear colour reveals a delicate nose, where scents of yellow fruit and fruit blend with subtle hints of ferns. On the palate, it delivers immediate pleasure with an outstanding minerality, culminating in a fresh and elegant finish.
