Information
Today, the estate has been practising healthier, more balanced viticulture for over 15 years. Organic products are used instead of herbicides, and the soil is carefully ploughed. The Pinot Noir vines, growing at an altitude ranging from 220 to 325 metres, thrive in this appellation behind some of Burgundy’s finest wines. The grapes are harvested at optimum ripeness and undergo natural alcoholic fermentation. The red wines are then aged in casks, with an average of 15% new oak, for over 12 months before being bottled without fining or filtration.
The intense colour unveils an expressive, complex bouquet bursting with generous blueberry and cherry aromas. Structured and expressive on the palate, this wine offers luscious fruit flavours and a deliciously long finish. This great Burgundy classic will develop beautifully in the cellar.
