Information
This family domaine has very beautiful parcels of land in the village of Gevrey in particular, with the premier cru Lavaux Saint-Jacques, and grand crus, Mazis, Charmes and Chambertin. The domaine’s wines are powerful and require a few years aging to reveal their full potential.
Located on the northernmost part of the Côte, at the heart of the Gevrey-Chambertin commune, this Grand Cru has everything it takes to be the pride of its appellation. The Pinot Noir vines, planted on brown calcareous limestone soils facing east, reap the benefits of a meticulous viticultural approach that respects the environment. In the winery, the hand-harvested fruit is vinified in a traditional, low-interventionist way.
The ruby-red colour graced with subtle bright tints reveals a delicate, expressive and elegant nose, with incomparable aromas of black fruits and subtle notes of plums. Powerful and generous on the palate, with well-structured and perfectly balanced tannins leading to a long, delicious finish. This 100% Pinot Noir can be enjoyed young, while also offering excellent cellaring potential.
