Domaine Henri Guenar, an iconic name in the Burgundy winegrowing landscape, is nestled on the notorious Côte Chalonnaise. Born in Chalon-sûr-Saône, the winegrower passionately cultivates famous regional grape varieties such as Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The domain boasts rich parcels throughout the Latricières-Chambertin Grand Cru appellation, producing powerful, concentrated and intense red wines. This long slope, with soils comprising silt, limestone and clay, enjoys a south-facing exposure at an altitude of around 250 metres. In the winery, the domain vinifies its wines in the traditional, artisanal way, to produce wines that express all the flavours of an incredible terroir while preserving the ecosystem. Grape varieties such as Pinot Noir and Chardonnay possess the ability to perfectly reflect the magnificent terroirs in all their diversity. The domain’s wines, usually made for cellaring, are real gems and ambassadors for a region steeped in history and character.
