Information
Maison Grosperrin was founded by Jean Grosperrin, a distiller since 1981 who moved to Cognac in 1991. The following year, he became a broker, which enabled him to visit a huge number of estates in search of the finest casks. Tired of seeing these end up in blends, he began bottling his own in 1999, providing details on their history, aged and, wherever possible, their vintage. In 2004, after Jean retired, his son Guilhelm took over the business, increasing its stocks and taking charge of selections and all or part of maturation himself.
Grosperrin No. 64 is an old cognac bought from the widow of a man whose father moved to Burie in 1930, in Les Borderies. This is a very rare lot bought by Grosperrin, with only 277 litres produced.
