Information
Ideally located in the commune of Vosne-Romanée, the family estate combines tradition, respect for the terroir and modernity to perfection. Each parcel of vines reaps the benefits of healthy, sustainable viticultural methods. For over fifteen years, the estate has made it a point of honour to ban all chemical fertilisers and weedkillers. In the winery, the fruit harvested from 80-year-old vines is meticulously destalked before being vinified with as little intervention as possible. The wine is then aged for a long period in casks, around 30% of which are new, before being bottled without fining or filtration.
The ruddy colour reveals an expressive nose bursting with delicate fragrances of red fruit. Elegant aromas of fresh raspberry mingle with fine tannins on the palate, leading to a long, persistent finish. This cuvée can easily be cellared for several years.
