Information
Located at an altitude of around 500 metres, the Arbois-Pupillin appellation is planted on a unique terroir of steep slopes. The Cellier Saint Benoit estate, nestling at the heart of this prestigious terroir in the village of Pupillin, has existed for more than four generations. Passionate about the land and the work in the winery, the estate applies environmentally friendly practices and carefully controls yields. The hand-picked grapes are vinified with as little intervention as possible to ensure that the finest flavours and colours of the terroir are authentically expressed.
The garnet colour reveals an intense bouquet, with aromas of red fruit mingling with subtle animal notes. The silky and concentrated palate delicately affirms the aromas of the nose and gently leads to a delicious persistent finish. This cuvée reaches its peak after six to eight years of cellaring.
