Information
The incredible story of a renowned Italian wine producer and a talented Danish winemaker from South Africa led to the creation of this exceptional estate, which produces wines that stand out among the best in Argentina. Noemia provides a very special example, produced from a small parcel of just 1.5 hectares, with vines that are almost a hundred years old and never touched by phylloxera.
While the estate makes a point of cultivating its vines methodically using organic and biodynamic methods, the approach to vinifying this parcel goes even further. Divided into 4 sections, each is treated using different methods, both in the vines and in the vats. The four wine profiles ferment in different custom-designed French oak casks to suit the needs of the cuvée.
The cuvée boasts a deep purple colour with a surprising bouquet where notes of almond mingle with intense aromas of flowers and red fruit. On the palate, notes of red fruit sorbets and forest berries are underlined by subtle acidity. The tannins are pronounced, yet delicate. The lingering finish is truly unforgettable.
