Information
A red grape variety native to Franche-Comté, Poulsard is also known as Vin de Corail (Coral Wine), because of the deep pink wines it produces. The Poulsard vines thrive in rich, marly, clay soils, and benefit from the meticulous viticulture methods employed at Cellier Saint Benoit, which lean towards organic farming. This natural, committed approach, combined with rigorous yield control, guarantees premium quality raw materials. In the winery, the harvested fruit undergoes a low-intervention vinification process to allow the fruit to naturally release all its characteristic Jura terroir aromas.
The bright ruby-red colour, enhanced by light copper tints, reveals an expressive bouquet bursting with intense aromas of strawberry and raspberry. The clean, easy-drinking palate delicately affirms the aromas of the nose and gently leads to a fresh, fruity finish.
