Information
Based in Châteauneuf-sur-Charente, Maison Tesseron’‘s roots date back to 1905, when the estate was bought by founder Abel Tesseron, who began collecting rare cognacs. The tradition continues today, with the third and fourth generation of the family at the helm. True enthusiasts of the fine products offered by the wine-growing terroir, they also own Château Pontet-Canet, the famous Pauillac cru classé.
Tesseron XO Perfection Lot No. 53 is a blend of eaux-de-vie made with Colombard and Ugni Blanc grapes grown in Grande Champagne, the most prestigious cru in the appellation. Although the XO statement means it was aged for at least ten years in Limousin oak barrels, in reality it was aged for much longer.
