Information
Domaine Bernard Moreau et Fils is one of the most emblematic vineyards in Burgundy, and has been established in Chassagne-Montrachet since the early 19th century. Bernard Moreau, backed by his sons Alexandre and Benoit, adopted a more natural and environmentally friendly approach back in the 1990s. The plots are treated with biodynamic preparations, and all chemical fertilisers and weedkillers are banned, to allow the terroir to express itself fully through each vine. The carefully cultivated Chardonnay vines planted in Puligny-Montrachet bask in the perfect amount of sunshine. They are meticulously harvested before being vinified following a traditional method.
The golden colour, worthy of the greatest growths, reveals an intense where notes of white stone fruit mingle with hints of marzipan and vanilla. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, revealing aromas of fresh almond and lime tree blossom. A cuvée of exceptional length that will age beautifully with several years in the cellar.
