Chris Ringland fell head over heels for two hectares of old Syrah vines in 1994. Passionate and determined, he devoted many years to renovation. Today, he crafts exceptional wines from the Syrah vines in his Barossa vineyard. The fruit behind this signature cuvée are carefully harvested before being vinified. The grapes ferment in open-top vats. The wines are then aged for 48 months in new French oak casks. The cuvée is then bottled and left to mature for several more years before being released on the market.
The deep red colour reveals an expressive, elegant bouquet combining intense red fruit aromas with hints of maple syrup. The fruity, perfectly balanced palate affirms the aromas revealed on the nose and delivers luscious chocolate and liquorice flavours, leading to a deliciously long finish.
