Information
Château Teyssier was established at the beginning of the 18th century in Vignonnet, in the heart of the Bordeaux region. The Maltus family has expertly run the estate since 1994, and is now proud to cultivate 50 hectares of vines in some of the region’s finest appellations. The vineyard lovingly cultivates grape varieties typical of the region, such as Cabernet Franc and Merlot. Well aware of the current environmental concerns and with a view to protecting biodiversity, the domain carries out each step in the vineyard with the utmost respect for the soil and the environment. After harvesting the grapes entirely by hand, the vineyard uses low-intervention vinification methods. Sulphur is also added in minute quantity allowing the fruit to express their wealth of aromas naturally. It is against this peaceful backdrop that this Bordeaux vineyard produces exceptional wines, reflecting the grape varieties and the terroir to perfection.
