A leading vineyard on the Burgundy winemaking scene, the family estate based in Meursault stretches across the finest appellations and terroirs of the Côte de Beaune. To showcase the nobility of the terroirs and preserve the environment, the wines have been certified organic since 2021. Clos des mouches, historically a reference to bees, nestles at an altitude of between 250 and 300 metres above sea level. The Pinot Noir vines climb on pebbly clay-limestone soils enjoy an ideal south-east exposure, at the foot of the Saint-Désiré mountain. Once harvested, the grapes are vinified in the purest Burgundy tradition.
The deep ruby colour reveals a fragrant and expressive bouquet, with scents of small red fruit mingling with subtle spicy notes. The delicate, silky palate reveals a perfect balance of elegance and fullness, leading to a deliciously persistent finish that undoubtedly reflects the best of its terroir. This cuvée will age beautifully.
