About the producer

On 29 May 2001 Bruichladdich began producing Port Charlotte, a whisky peated to 40 ppm. Port Charlotte is now available in a wide range of versions, offering different age statements, casks and barley sources - all accompanying the distillery's other bottlings, Bruichladdich and Octomore.

About the wine

A 12 year old Port Charlotte distilled in 2001 and matured in a French oak cask. The Valinch range features single casks released in 50 cl bottles available only at the distillery. A limited edition of 400 bottles paying tribute to Tina Mackinnon, the manager of the distillery’’s bottling line.
