About the producer

On 29 May 2001 Bruichladdich began producing Port Charlotte, a whisky peated to 40 ppm. Port Charlotte is now available in a wide range of versions, offering different age statements, casks and barley sources - all accompanying the distillery's other bottlings, Bruichladdich and Octomore.

About the wine

A Port Charlotte PC6 Cuairt-Beatha distilled in 2001 and bottled in 2007. The “6” refers to the age of the whisky. This range is the first released by Bruichladdich for Port Charlotte. PC6 was matured in bourbon casks and finished in Madeira casks. A limited edition of 18,000 bottles.
