About the producer
On 29 May 2001 Bruichladdich began producing Port Charlotte, a whisky peated to 40 ppm. Port Charlotte is now available in a wide range of versions, offering different age statements, casks and barley sources - all accompanying the distillery's other bottlings, Bruichladdich and Octomore.
About the wine
A Port Charlotte PC11 distilled in 2001 and bottled in 2014 for the duty-free market. The first Port Charlotte bottlngs were released in the PC range, where the brand’’s initials were followed by the whisky’’s age. A limited edition of 12,000 bottles named Eòrna Na h-Alba, which means ‘Scottish barley’’.
