    About the producer

    Built in Glasgow in 1811, the Port Dundas grain distillery was, in its prime, the largest distillery in Scotland. Particularly innovative for its time, it was also one of the founders of the conglomerate Distillers Company Limited, a predecessor to Diageo. Despite the various improvements made throughout its life, the distillery closed in 2011.

    A cask strength Port Dundas 52 year old distilled in 2017. This bottling is part of Diageo’’s Special Releases, a range released annually that highlights some of the finest whiskies of the group’’s open and closed distilleries. A limited edition of 752 bottles.
