Information
Founded in Dublin in 2015 by Jack and Stephen Teeling, the sons of Cooley's founder John Teeling, Teeling was the first distillery to open in the city for 125 years, despite the fact that the distillery had at one time been home to some fifty or so. It bottled its first whiskey in 2018. The distillery's emblem is a phoenix, symbolizing the company's regeneration, as Walter Teeling, an ancestor of the current owners, had opened a distillery on Marrowbone Lane in 1782, not far from the current distillery. A family story.
A 24 year old single malt from the Dublin-based Teeling distillery for its Vintage Reserve Collection. A limited edition of 5,000 bottles bottled in 2016 and aged exclusively in ex-bourbon and Sauternes casks.
