Information
Founded in Dublin in 2015 by Jack and Stephen Teeling, the sons of Cooley's founder John Teeling, Teeling was the first distillery to open in the city for 125 years, despite the fact that the distillery had at one time been home to some fifty or so. It bottled its first whiskey in 2018. The distillery's emblem is a phoenix, symbolizing the company's regeneration, as Walter Teeling, an ancestor of the current owners, had opened a distillery on Marrowbone Lane in 1782, not far from the current distillery. A family story.
The fifth release in the Revival series, this edition of Teeling celebrates the opening of the new distillery in 2014. Aged for 12 years, first in bourbon casks and then finished in brandy and cognac casks.
