Information
The origins of the mythical Château de Meursault go back to the 11th century. Today, this domaine extends over 60 hectares of vines of Volnay, Beaune, Pommard, Aloxe Corton, Savigny-lès-Beaune, Meursault and Puligny-Montrachet, with many premier and grand crus. it has been owned by the Halley family since 2012.
This cuvée is produced from a small grand cru parcel located at mid-slope on the hill of Corton. Its particularly expressive nose heralds a creamy, generous palate. The minerality of its terroir is clearly reflected upon tasting, making this wine a great accompaniment to oily fish or processed seafood. This cuvée can be kept for around fifteen years before drinking.
