Information
Musella is a family-owned domain located in the Veneto hills. On the 400 hectares which make up the property, only 50 are planted with vines. The domain has biodynamic certification and produces wines which are typical of the region, with great craftsmanship, such as the Valpolicella Superiore, Ripasso and Amarone. A wonderful signature. Pasqua di Bisceglie has made a reputation for the finesse and freshness of her wines.
The Musella domain stretches across 50 hectares in the heights of Venice. The vines were planted between 1960 and 2015 in soil made up of chalk and red clay. The domain has biodynamic certification. The Valpolicella Superiore cuvée is made from Corvina and Corvinone grapes (80%), completed by Rondinella (10%) and Barbera (10%). For its vinification, the grapes are macerated and fermented for 12-15 days at low temperatures. There is no fining. The wine is then matured for several months in large casks and concrete vats. In the glass, it has a lovely, ruby red hue with a nose of red fruits. On the palate, this fruitiness is remarkably pure and fresh, coupled with supple tannins. Serve this wine at around 16°C. This is a great sharing wine that will pair well with a charcuterie board.
