Information
Located in the foothills of the Patrimonio appellation, in the village of Poggio d’Oletta, the vineyards of Clos Signadore are overseen by Christophe Ferrandis. He learnt the profession in Bandol (Pibarnon) before creating his domain in Corsica in 2001. The domain is entirely organic.
This white Patrimonio opens into refined, elegant aromas of white flowers, acacia, citrus and pear. The palate presents these same flavours and delicacy before a long, attractively mineral finish. The domain harvests its Vermentino grapes by hand, operating a rigorous sorting and partial destemming policy. Fermentation takes place in frustoconical tanks with native yeasts. The wine is then matured in stainless steel tanks on fine lees - a technique which lends extra texture and flavour.
