Information
Nicole Moncuit is one of the rare women winemakers in the region. Assisted by her daughter Valérie on the production side and her brother on the commercial side, she crafts her champagnes in a very individual way. This champagne house in the middle of the Côte des Blancs is known for the absence of reserve wine and use of 100% Chardonnay. The 20 hectare, family-owned vineyard is cultivated meticulously to produce distinguished and complex wines with delicate bubbles. Far from the spotlight, this limited production champagne is even more appealing because of its attractive price.
This grand cru ranks among the finest in the Champagne appellation, developing exceptional aromas as a result of its long cellaring, and – more importantly – its lack of dosage. It offers a minerality typical of the legendary Côte des Blancs village of Mesnil-sur-Oger. Generosity and candied fruit: the aromas of this champagne blend harmoniously in the mouth and make a perfect accompaniment to refined dishes such as smoked salmon, scallops and poultry with truffles.
