Chambolle-Musigny A.-F. Gros
Information
About the producer

Côtes de Nuits connoisseurs will tell you that behind the name Gros is a mosaic of intertwined domains. The original domain (domain Louis Gros), was divided between his three children, which started the Gros Frère et Soeur, François Gros and Jean Gros domains at the beginning of the 1970s. Within the Jean Gros domain, Anne-Françoise Gros manages her own parcels under the Domaine A-F Gros.

About the wine

Anne-Françoise Gros farms 4,000 square metres of Pinot Noir in Chambolle-Musigny, vinifying her village grapes in the same vat. Her Chambolle-Musigny is characterised by its great finesse and elegane. Its cherry red colour and aromas of red fruits (raspberry, strawberry jam), violet and undergrowth, its suaveness and melted tannins all counterbalance a light acidity which allows the wine to be aged for 5-10 years.
