About the producer
In the very east of the Loire, nestled between meadows and hills, domain Pellé makes wines in the Menetou-Salon appellation. Created in 1959, it lies on terroirs of marl, clay and Kimmeridgian limestone. The domain farms its vines sustainably, tilling the soils and keeping its yields low. Exemplary wines with impressive minerality.
About the wine
A blend of Pinot Noir grapes from three marl and limestone parcels, this Menetou-Salon is a brilliant combination of fruit, freshness and subtle tannins. Although delicious right now, it will gain further complexity after a short period of cellaring.
