Information
The Emilio Moro domaine has been growing vines for three generations and has built up its credentials in the Ribera del Duero on the basis of hard work, dedication and humility. The limestone and clay soils rise to between 750 and 1,000 metres above sea level, giving this wine a potent personality!
This is one of Emilio Moro’s finest wines because its yields are strictly limited (25 hectolitres per hectare). The vines were planted in 1924 when they were part of the Ribera del Duero’s iconic Pago de Valderramiro vineyard. The wine is aged in oak barrels for 18 months. It is intensely aromatic, with balsamic notes, and a pleasant creamy texture. This excellent wine for food lovers needs several years in the cellar and pairs well with strongly-flavoured dishes.
