Information
About the producer

True to his pioneering spirit, Michel Chapoutier, a wine producer and negociant from the Rhône Valley, has set off in search of new terroirs, notably in Australia. He has settled on the Victoria Province in the Pyrenees appellation and joined forces with two major winemaking families, who share their expertise with him. Working with them, he has purchased two vineyards – Shays Flat and Landsborough – where he grows exceptional Shiraz grapes. Tournon is one of these domaines.

About the wine

The Matilda rosé is pale salmon pink. It has intense aromas of red fruit (strawberry, raspberry) and peach and after a very clean first impression, the fruity palate blends with freshness. This wine is a delight with dishes delicately seasoned with aromatic herbs or spices.
