Information
Domaine Frantz Chagnoleau was created in 2009 in Pierreclos, in the Mâconnais. With his companion Caroline Gon, they studied and began their careers in wine. Their organic vineyard covers about 7 hectares. Soils are ploughed, yields are controlled and vinification has little intervention (fermentation with native yeast only). The wines of Frantz Chagnoleau are similar to their terroir, in that they are rich, precise and complex. A domaine that never ceases to amaze us.
Saint-Véran La Roche has a powerful, fresh nose, with citrus flavours and floral notes. The palate has characteristic refinement, balance and freshness. The mineral, saline finish is very pleasant. This wine will keep well for a few years in the cellar, and is a good match for fish in sauce or slightly spicy dishes.
