About the wine

Located among the slopes, this premier cru is distinguished by the clay, chalk and pebble soil that drains so well. Antoine Jobard grows his Chardonnay sustainably and organically here, and seems to have perfectly mastered the art of vinification. Its aromatic bouquet is nicely contrasted, at once nuanced and intense. White flowers, white fruit, and citrus blend with flavourful notes of praline, cooked pear, and smoke. Its palate is remarkable as well. Its striking balance is characterised by great depth, freshness, and a salty finish.
