Information
Yannick Amirault took over a few of his grandfather's vines in the 1970s, including the legendary terroir of Les Malgagnes. He developed the vineyard, choosing to expand over the years through choices that reflect the respect inherent to his wine-making methods and vinification.
The Bourgueil La Coudraye made by Yannick Amirault is a cuvée that embodies the estate's savoir-faire. It is produced from vines aged between thirty and thirty-five years in sandy soil across a number of locations: Les Perrières, Les Sables, La Coudraye, Les Pins. It displays a nose packed full of fresh fruit and berries (cranberries) with a hint of spice, and is juicy and gourmand with fantastic acidity.
