Information
Jacques Seysses created Domaine Dujac in 1968 by purchasing 4.5 hectares. He is also associated with Aubert de Villaine in the Var (Triennes). Today Jacques's children are the directors of the Domaine Dujac, Jeremy, his wife Diana (an American enologist) and Alec Seysses. The domaine, certified in organic farming, extends over 15 hectares in the largest terroirs of the Côte de Nuits and especially Morey-Saint-Denis. The domaine's wines have excellent aging potential and are characterised by great complexity and delicacy.
Romanée-Saint-Vivant is one of Burgundy's most famous grand crus. This exceptional terroir, bordering on Romanée-Conti, shows off Domaine Dujac's expertise to perfection. The wine offers aromas of red berries (raspberry, cherry), flowers and spices. The palate is flavoursome, concentrated and fruity, but also with saline notes. The long finish is absolutely exceptional. It will require 10-20 years' cellaring before it reaches its peak.
