Information
When they arrived at the domaine in 1983, Guido Serio and his wife Isa devoted all their energy to producing flawless wines. Located between Sienna and Florence, the domaine harvests, vinifies and bottles its Chiantis using traditional methods.
To produce this Chianti, each grape variety (Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese) is vinified in a stainless steel tank, and then vinified separately for 12-15 months in new barrels. With its ruby-red appearance, it exudes a bouquet characterised by small red and black berries and spices. The palate is well structured and robust thanks to its elegant tannins and well-balanced acidity. This wine needs to be drunk in its first ten years.
