Information
Mas de la Dame spans 57 hectares, 50 of which in one contiguous vineyard. The vines are farmed organically (with Ecocert certification). The domain tries to limit their use of sulphur and copper on the soils where possible and uses organic compost as their only fertilizer. The region's grape varieties are all planted: Grenache, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cinsault, Mourvèdre, Carignan for the reds and for the rosés: Sémillon, Clairette, Rolle, Grenache blanc, Roussanne. The grapes are harvested by hand. Le Mas de la Dame has been farmed for 4 generations, producing olive oil and wine.
Le Coin Caché is one of the domain’s oldest parcels, lost in the garrigue. Grenache and Syrah are vinified separately, then mature for 15 months in barrels before being blended. Fine and powerful, the nose is high in alcohol, with aromas or strawberry and cherry, as well as notes of prune.
